Mandy has been with the Wellesley Dental Practice for 30 years. She qualified as a dental nurse when she was 19 and, after assisting a periodontist (gum specialist) subsequently trained at Kings College Dental School, London, where she qualified as a dental hygienist in 1989.
Mandy has a gentle touch and a sympathetic understanding approach with nervous, apprehensive patients. She will listen and tailor your treatment taking into consideration your physical and mental state on any given day. Mandy has a special interest in whole body health and likes to bring this into her care as a hygienist, advising on best treatment outcomes for overall health and wellbeing. She has certifications in NLP life coaching and uses this to help her patients make positive changes for their oral hygiene habits, overall health and lifestyle.
Mandy’s hobbies include playing the flute, cycling, kayaking and paddle boarding, and she will take in a good air show every summer as she used to fly fixed wing aircraft on a regular basis in years gone by! She mentors a veteran soldier and keeps two rescued cats and rabbits.
